Great breakfast spot! Friendly staff. Not crowded. Tables to sit. Good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Fresh bagels and pastries.

Great cafe. We had breakfast every day here during our stay in New York. We were staying at the hilton Garden Inn Long Island which is so close. Staff are really friendly and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended

Fire Omelette is amazing here!

This is quaint LIC gem. The dinning room is larger than most in the area so there is some space to spread out. I highly recommend the Pernil with Fried Plantains. Excellent food at a reasonable price.

The food is consistanly good and the staff are friendly. It can get crowded with construction workers so for lunch get there early or go later.

The breakfast and lunch is over price and nasty. I ordered a chicken and salad. The chicken was cold and the salad was old. I paid $7.00 for garbage!!!

This is a nice, quaint neighborhood spot. The staff are welcoming and nice. Service was quick as they were not busy when I went there. It was actually pretty quiet. The food was good. They cook it when you order so it tasted fresh and hot. I ordered the Mexican steak sandwich and I wish it had more steak in it, but the ingredients were of good quality.

I used to go to this place more before gordos moved in down the block. They have a good 6 dollar chicken platter when you want quick and cheap! They make a good milk shake!

Surprising excellent Spanish food. Try the fajitas that have potatoes. Excellent chorizo. Great little "diner" style small plate restaurant with a friend fly staff. Check it out.

Cheap and tastey

The owner is not watching the register the employees sticking handfulls of cash in their back pocket daily. They take turns during each shift . That is why the owner has to cut so many corners to make ends meet which is quite sad because he makes the money and is never there to see it. His food went from good to bad taste having corners cut 😱😱😱😱

Solid Mexican food, I would avoid the hamburger, french fries etc and go for the authentic food like the mole enchiladas with Oaxaca cheese or the chilaquiles with red sauce. It's not going to win any awards for ambience, but the constant flow of patrons is a good sign, and frankly it reminds me of my visits to Oaxaca. The prices are incredibly reasonable for a NYC restaurant. We walk out under $20 for two people, how about that!

Extensive menu of Mexican/American fare makes this an easy stop for any eater. Went for the enchilada verde and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of spice in the sauce.
